Highland Storm Minor Hockey This page is designed to communicate the Highland Storm Minor Hockey Association stories, schedules and events to the players and their families.

Highland Storm's page is intended as a positive information sharing and communication medium. It is meant to celebrate minor hockey in Haliburton County and help families and children, in particular, play and enjoy everything hockey has to offer. It can also help sponsors of the game get some recognition for helping kids play hockey.

The Muskoka Fall Faceoff will be a tournament to remember!

The U13 Rep, Cottage Cottage Country Building Supplies, battled their way through 6 hard-fought games, coming away with an incredible 5 wins and earning a spot in the Championship Final! 🏆

They left everything on the ice in the final, falling just short in a 3–2 battle. 💙

While the final score wasn’t what we hoped for, there is SO much to be proud of. The determination, teamwork, grit and heart this team showed all weekend was incredible. What a start to what we feel will be an incredible season of hockey!

CarQuest Minden continues to be a solid supporter of Highland Storm Minor Hockey Association by donating $18 from every scrap automotive battery dropped off through their battery recycling program.

Every battery helps support our local players—and keeps old batteries out of the landfill!

Highland Storm is excited to team up with True Impact Hockey to offer additional development sessions for our players this season! True Impact Hockey -TIH

True Impact Hockey provides focused, team-based training designed to help players become more confident, skilled and complete hockey players. Sessions will focus on:

⚡ Skating
🏒 Puck control
🧠 Decision-making and hockey IQ
💪 Compete level
🥅 Game-based skills and situations

Each session will be tailored to the individual team, helping players understand not only how to use their skills—but when to use them in a game.
