AGM 2025-2026 TONIGHT!

Good day GLMHA, a friendly reminder that our AGM is tonight, Wednesday, May 13th, 7pm, at the Haven of Hope Assembly - 536 Pleasant Dr, Minto, NB.

Lots of EXCITING business to discuss and we will finally put a close on the 2025/2026 hockey season.

There will be an election for Secretary. Candidates are:
- Laura Casey
- Amanda Madore

We will also open the floor for candidates interested in 2nd Vice-President. More than one candidate will trigger an election.

REMINDER: Early Voting beings at 6:30pm for Secretary Position.

Board members, current GLMHA volunteers/members, parents/guardian (max 2 per votes player but only one vote per voter, regardless the amount of kids within GLMHA).

GLMHA would like to advise the following Appointments via Acclamation for the 2026/2027 GLMHA Executive:

President - Scott Ryan
1st Vice President - Chelsea Armstrong
2nd Vice President - VACANT (We will accept names from the floor at the AGM for this Position.)
Treasurer - Sheila Viel

There will be an election for Secretary. Candidates are:

Board members, current GLMHA volunteers/members, parents/guardian (max 2 per votes player but only one vote per voter, regardless the amount of kids within GLMHA).

Current President Mat Richardson will transition to the Past-President Role for the 2026/2027 hockey season.

GLMHA would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to both Kelly Emberley and Amanda Young, who are both stepping away from our GLMHA Executive. Kelly will now transition to the "Retired Hockey Mom" chapter, while Amanda journey in hockey is just beginning.

Hello all GLMHA families. We have been offered to do the parking at the Chipman Outdoors Show Saturday May 23rd as a fundraiser and funds would go towards next years fundraising goal.

This would be parking by donation so some younger kids at the entrance with buckets collecting money and some adults/older players helping guide parking. If you are interested in volunteering please reach out to Sheila Viel.

AGM is scheduled for May 13th, 2026. Time and venue TBD. Here are the positions that are up to vote on for the upcoming season. All nominations can be sent to our registrar at [email protected] by April 28th. We have also included the link to our constitution which outlines each position.
