When I first brought BJJ to New Brunswick I never envisioned having black belts under me. Black belt in BJJ was so hard to acquire and I worked tirelessly to spread this amazing martial art/sport in New Brunswick in the early days. These guys are not just students but dear friends and I am so proud of these BJJ black belts both as budo men and amazing people!

Looking forward to Saturday as I will be giving a seminar and black celebration in Brazilian Jiujitsu. As the original pioneer of Brazilian Jiujitsu in New Brunswick, and first black belt, it brings me joy to share knowledge and continue to pass on my legacy in martial arts.
