It is with great sadness that I need to announce that Snoopy has gone on to Horsey Heaven. Snoopy was an amazing lesson horse who taught many students at Countryside Stables how to walk and trot as well as how to jump courses. At 26 years old, I feel she was too young to leave us. She was a gentle, kind soul and will be very much missed!

100 bales of hay off to Lytton this morning! Thank you to Alexandra de Haan for volunteering your time to pick up and load the hay and to Maggie Ferguson from BC & Alberta Emergency Livestock Support Group for co-ordinating everything. I am so happy that my hay will help out some of the horses and cattle impacted by the wildfires.

Thank you Chrissy Tenerelli for coming out at dinner time and helping making all the horses in the barn more comfortable in this heat wave by spraying them all down (some of them needed it numerous times!). Your help was much appreciated. Thank you Lee Kwidzinski for also helping out!
