How quickly things can change. In these photos, you can actually see the rain on the top end while the starting line is dry, but of course that quickly changed.

We don’t always get it right when it comes to weather forecasts, but this little downpour at least made us feel a little justified in cancelling the event today.

Due to weather forecast showing more precipitation coming between 11-4 today, and the cooler temperatures, we have unfortunately had to make the decision to cancel today's Mega Ford Day Presented By River Valley Ford event. Safety is always our number 1 priority, and it's never a decision we take lightly.

There is a possibility of rescheduling the event to another date, and we will update everyone in the coming days if we plan to do so.

Tomorrow is the Mopac Auto Supply Ltd. Friday Night Street Legal Drags @ Mission Raceway Park! Come race your own car down the River Valley Ford Dragstrip for only $50!

Not able to make it for Friday Night? Join us on Saturday at 9am for Ford Day River Valley Ford – Aug 29! Tickets are only $25 for the whole day, where we'll be racing everything with a Ford logo, and a few without! Plus after racing, the Burnout Pad will be open, with the winner of the Burnout Competition winning a FREE set of tires from River Valley Ford! But don't worry, if you don't win, you can still get a set of tires from RVF at cost! Anyone is welcome to come and spin your wheels, doesn't even have to be Ford!
