We have just posted our next CASE Course, July 11th at MDRGC! It is also open to challengers for experienced shooters (you can challenge the CASE course by writing a written test then taking the practical exam).

There will be an RO course running the same day in the cowboy bays. Experienced shooters, be on the lookout for your invite to the RO Course!

Here’s what you get:
1. Next Generation R***r 10/22 (16.5” barrel, synthetic stock, 10-round magazine)
Why we like it:
R***r made the updates people have been asking for:

Automatic bolt release
Threaded barrel
Pass-through cleaning port at the rear of the chamber
Improved bolt handle and magazine release
Inletted stock for easier magazine handling
The synthetic stock is a noticeable improvement over previous versions and feels solid for the price point. The 10/22 platform is proven, reliable, and something we’re confident standing behind. We test a lot of products—this is one that consistently holds up.

2. Picatinny Rail Installation
A simple, functional addition to support an optic. It’s not a precision rail, but it’s more than adequate for a semi-auto .22 setup.

3. Polymer Bolt Buffer Upgrade
We replace the factory steel buffer with a polymer buffer.
This acts as a sacrificial wear component—reducing metal-on-metal impact and protecting the bolt over time. It’s inexpensive and easy to replace when needed.

4. Receiver Modification for TUF Magazines
We machine the receiver to accept legal TUF 25-round magazines.

5. Holosun Core (Next Generation) Red Dot
Why we like it:
Holosun is currently the only Taiwanese/Chinese products we carry. We’ve found that many mid-range optics use Holosun internals anyway—so you’re often paying extra for branding.

In our testing (including on 12-gauge platforms), Holosun optics have proven reliable and consistent. The updated version we use features a closed emitter, so it’s unaffected by rain, and has a more compact profile than earlier models.

Holosun Canada has also been excellent to deal with. If any issues arise—which we haven’t seen so far—we can resolve them for our customers quickly.

6. Polished Chamber and Feed Ramps

We polish the chamber and feed ramps to ensure smooth cycling.
