The Signum Corvus crew had a great time at Spring Steel this year!
A lot of learning from some great workshops, including a Bolognese workshop put on by our own

On October 4, Signum Corvus had the pleasure of attending the Deed of the Red Knight – a historical reenactment hosted by La Compagnia della Rosa nel Sole in Hastings. In addition to a historical campsite with a roaring campfire and on-site armourer, the event reenacted group battles and several combat scenarios including a battle for a bridge, protecting a fortress and conducting a forest raid. The event was a massive success and those of us who attended had an incredible time. We had a truly memorable experience. We will certainly be attending again and encourage more of our members to take part next year! ⚔️

Signum Corvus had our annual Holiday Dinner which was full of stories, laughter and much merriment. Another great year with amazing people!

As many of you know, Signum Corvus recently lost one of its founding members, Vlad Adamec. This past weekend we held our Raven's Requiem and Deulli Alla Macchia in his honour. The requiem served as a memorial, centered around a tree that we planted in the park. The remainder of the day was filled with dueling and general camaraderie that we know Vlad would have enjoyed. The weather was beautiful and the mood was uplifting. A true celebration of Vlad's life and legacy.
Below is the dedication that was spoken following the requiem.

As we lay down our swords,
we do not lay down what he gave us.
The lessons, the strength, the fire —
these endure beyond the man.
Let this tree stand as our sentinel,
its roots bound to his memory,
its growth a testament to his legacy.
May we walk with the fortitude, prudence, audacity, and celerity
that Vlad instilled within us.
Rest well, Master at Arms —
we remain steadfast beneath your banner.

Signum Corvus had a blast with Devon Boorman from this weekend during the longsword and sidesword/buckler workshop.
