We strive to inspire and motivate aged cricketers who still have the passion left in them to compete at the highest level around the world. Founded in 2017, CSCA has made great strides towards making itself know
n at the national and international level. During such short span of time, we have been able to successfully arrange international tours or tournaments for senior cricketers who are either Canadian nationals or residents. CSCA Pioneer of seniors Cricket in Canada & endorsed by Cricket Canada, organizes & participate in cricket events (local & overseas) for Over 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s aged Seniors. CSCA provides opportunities to Seniors to play the sport of cricket, socialize and get involved. Also, for seniors to meet in a social environment and offers valuable resources, such as information on the support and services available for seniors in the community. Its contribution to the community is helping Seniors to participate, enjoy/entertain in a heathy environment. We organize Over 40s/50s/60s local Seniors Cricket Events/Tournaments and International tours. The health benefits of our cricket events help a player to be fit and strong and have good hand-eye coordination and ball- handling skills. Cricket involved sprinting between wickets and running to stop the balls, as well as bowling and throwing, stamina building, balance and coordination, and physical fitness. Other benefits are team skills, social skills such as cooperation, communication, managing and learning how to cope with winning/losing & social interaction. It is a great way to meet new people and make new friends. We feel CSCA proposed initiative will benefit the community as those isolated seniors join the activities and share their knowledge and experiences. Enabling the joining seniors to embrace the sprite of cricket in a competitive, social, and healthy environment It provides a way for the community to work together and teach what it has to offer. At present, most of CSCA events are self-funded from overseas tours, participated in the Inaugral Over 50s Cricket World Cup 2018 Sydney Australia and CSCA Team was the winner of Plate final.
