Iona’s dance program focuses on developing the technique,
creativity and artistry of each student. The dance curriculum is
developed around Classical Ballet (R.A.D) and Modern/
Contemporary Dance. The program is also complemented by the
study of Jazz Dance, World Dance and Urban Dance. The first
semester’s focus is on building technique and finding the students

Our grade 9s and 10s are so excited to start dancing tomorrow after spending lots of time learning ballet terminology. We have amazing ballerinas at Iona who can't wait to start dancing!
