Skate Canada 2020 International Coach Apprenticeship Program (ICAP)
Skate Ontario is pleased to announce that six of our Ontario coaches have been accepted into the Skate Canada 2020 International Coach Apprenticeship Program. In conjunction with the 2020 World Figure Skating Championships in Montreal, Quebec, this world-class coach development initiative is supported and funded by Skate Canada and Skate Ontario. Participating coaches will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best Canadian and international coaches, officials and other sport leaders.

Good luck to Brooke and Brandon this week at their second junior Grand Prix in Russia!
We are into week #4 on the ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit and this week the skaters are in Chelyabinsk, Russia. We are delighted with the biggest Skate Ontario team at any of the competitions so far this season. We want to wish the best of luck to the Skate Ontario athletes. In the mens event Iliya Kovler, Alec Guinzbourg, pair teams Brooke McIntosh & Brandon Toste, Patricia Andrew & Zachary Daleman, and ice dancers Nadiia Bashynska & Peter Beaumont, Irina Galiyanova & Grayson Lochhead.
