Also wanted to share Payet sensei's 1st experience paddling a canoe.down a river. We eddied in and out ferried across the current and.learned.to draw, back paddle, and forward paddlenhard through some standing waves.
This.may not be Payet sensei last paddle
.We think a.canoe trip, just.like Masahiko Noriki sensei is in Payet sensei's future!!

Last Friday and Saturday the Sendokan Dojo hosted Payet Sensei. 9 hours of absolutley amazing instruction. I think everyone got so much.out of the seminar, I know I certainly did! We had participants from Cape Coral Florida, Ottawa, Nova Scotia, Huntsville, Scarborough and many other places.
Many many thanks to Payet sensei for all his expertise and efforts. Also a big thank you to Edward Sterrett for accompanying Payet sensei from California.
Your next opportunities to experience teaching from this.level.of instructor is this September when Mustard sensei and Thambu sensei, will be at the Sendokan and then Kyoto in April 2027, when you will have, perhaps the LAST opportunity EVER to train with all three of these sensei AND Chida sensei, Ando sensei, Nakano sensei, Chino Sensei, and.many many other top instructors from the time when Kancho sensei was actively teaching at the Koganei Honbu.
