LAST DAY to sign up for FEEDING YOUR DEMONS WORKSHOP!
Sunday May 16th 2-4 pm
In this 2 hour online workshop, we will work with the Tibetan practice of Chöd and a mix of yin and restorative yoga.
Chöd is an ancient Buddhist meditation practice that helps us identify and befriend our demons. We all have inner demons, in the form of fear, anger, shame, illnesses, feelings of inadequacy and so on; all those unwanted parts of ourselves that we try to keep them the shadow at all costs sometimes resorting to all kinds of addictions (alcohol, drugs, food, s*x, social media, work, Netflix). The practice of Chöd helps us recognize this demons and instead of fighting them, feeding them what they need so that they become our allies.
Because we westerners tend to be very disembodied and tend to live from the neck up, I like to integrate this practice with a series of restorative and yin yoga poses to help us breaking through places in the subtle body that are blocked with unresolved issues and energy.
