Erica's Wish Erica's Wish was created when a girl named Erica, was diagnosed with Osteogenic Sarcoma (Osteosarcoma). Osteosarcoma is the same cancer that Terry Fox had.

Register now for our sweetest fundraiser www.cupcakerun.ca Erica like Terry, had a long series of chemotherapy treatments and a modified amputation. The first Erica's Wish was held on Erica's 13th birthday. Today Erica's Wish raises funds to make blankets for all the Oncology children at SickKids Hospital. Once admitted, each child will receive an Erica's Wish blanket to comfort them throughout their treatments. Cancer is affecting so many children, it needs to be heard. Please review these important race kit pickup and event-day details so you arrive prepared and ready to enjoy the sweetest event of the year.

Saturday, September 26
11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Dundas Oakville Running Room

We strongly encourage you to collect your race kit on Saturday.

A limited race-morning pickup will also be available at Erindale Park from
8:00–9:00 a.m. Please arrive early if you choose this option.

Free parking is available at the park.

This year, the start and finish lines are located in the same area, making it easier for participants and spectators to enjoy all the race-day excitement. Bathrooms are available just steps from the start and finish line.

Start Times
9:00 a.m. — 1K Kids Dash
9:30 a.m. — Sweet 5K Run/Walk

Please arrive with enough time to park, collect your kit if necessary, pin on your race bib and get to the start line.

Important Race-Day Reminders
There will be NO race-day registrations.
You must be registered in advance to participate.

There is no baggage check available. Please leave coats, bags and other personal belongings securely in your vehicle.

Medical support will be on site. If you are not feeling well before, during or after your event, please speak with a volunteer or visit the medical team.

Race shirt sizes may only be exchanged after the events have finished on race morning, subject to availability.

Professionally Timed 5K
The Sweet 5K is professionally timed. Your timing chip is attached to the back of your race bib. If you do not wear your race bib, your time will not be recorded.
Official results will be available after the event at chiptimeresults.com.

Kids’ Cupcake Decorating
After crossing the finish line, our 1K Kids Dash participants can proceed to the cupcake-decorating area for some extra-sweet fun!

The Cupcake Run is almost here, and we are so grateful to have you on our team!
Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. and check in at the Volunteer Tent. You will then be directed where you need to be.
