And so the Snake slowly uncoils to welcome in the year, as the Dragon leaves us to ascend to the heavens.

2024 was a busy year but I am forever grateful for the support from everyone. I am blessed to be part of so many great communities. Thanks for the memories 2024, let's hit 2025 going strong.

Due to a conflict in my schedule, there will be no practice tonight. Next one is on Tuesday Oct 22nd. See you on the mats then.

Update: Our resuming of the regular schedule will be postponed until Thursday the 11th.

Upon reviewing the last post, looks like I made an oops with the date.... Practice most certainly not resuming on New Years day... 🤔

Now back to our regular practice schedule, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30PM - 10:00PM.

Last Thursday's practice was the first of the year, a good time to review our Kihon. While it's supposed to be eaten on New Year's Eve, we rang in the year finishing off practice with some Toshikoshi Soba.

Finally getting some time to post again... I had a great time at last weekend's seminar hosted by my friend Fabio at

Great to meet and train with some new people and also see some familiar faces as well.

Huge thank you to Fabio for organizing, our translators and especially Petroccello Sensei for his wealth of experience.

I missed this view. We are back in action! Delayed reopening due to my stomach flu, but we are open and ready to train.

Practice runs from 8:30-10PM every Tuesday and Thursday!
