This photo was taken from the dock last Sunday—one of our members enjoying a beautiful early-season sail.

Have you made it out for your first sail yet? The season is here, and it’s a great time to get out on the water—just remember that the lake is still cold, so please go out prepared

We also encourage all members to post in the MSC WeChat Safety Log when heading out and again when you return. It helps keep everyone informed and safe.
Have a photo or video from your first sail of the season? Share it with us—we’d love to feature it.

Introducing MSC’s Borrow a Boat Program

No boat? No problem. With MSC’s new Borrow a Boat Program, members can access a shared fleet of sailboats—perfect for casual sailing, learning the ropes, or getting back on the water without the commitment of boat ownership.

The program is launching for the 2025 season and is open to members looking to sail alongside a supportive and experienced community.

Want to learn more or find out how to get involved? Send us a direct message—we’re happy to share the details.

Sailors Meeting – Saturday, April 26

Join us this Saturday for our next Sailors Meeting, featuring Ron Bianchi presenting Weather and Sailing – Back to Basics. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or just starting out, this session will help sharpen your understanding of weather and how it affects your time on the water.

Breakfast is free and served at 9:00 AM, followed by the presentation at 10:00 AM.

Following the meeting, MSC’s docks will be installed. While we already have the volunteers we need for the job, members are welcome to stay and observe the process.

Please RSVP to Davood in the MSC WhatsApp group to help us plan breakfast.

Have questions about the event or upcoming prep work? Let us know—we’re always happy to share.

City Docks Are In!

The City has now installed the public docks at the marina—a sure sign that sailing season is just around the corner. Our own MSC docks will be installed on Saturday, April 26, following the next Sailors Meeting.

While we already have the volunteers needed for the install, all members are welcome to attend the Sailors Meeting and watch the dock installation process.

If you’re looking to log some volunteer hours, there’s an opportunity on Friday, April 18. Please contact Dave Haight via the MSC WhatsApp group for details.

I'm thinking of getting a dolly for my 14' Enterprise. Any advice, suggestions where to buy one, or anything else I should know.
Appreciate your help.
