The season is coming to a close, and we’re going out the right way.
Introducing The Wind Down, a golf retreat presented by The Loop in collaboration with Black Bear Ridge | Golf & Resort.
A couple of days to relax, reset, and play one last round (or two) together before the season wraps up.

Once the weather finally cleared, our leaguers got to work.
With a dozen teams ready to compete, one team clearly stood above everyone else. Congrats to Jonathan T and , who made it look easy by going back-to-back to take Round 2 of the regular season.

Round Two is in the books for our Two-Person Best Ball Regular Season.
Our leaguers battled the elements early at Copper Creek Golf Club, one of the best tracks in the country and it did not go down easy.
Wind, weather, and a course that doesn’t hand out any favours. Full recap dropping soon…

Don’t let the pretty views fool you. Cobble Beach is one of the toughest courses you’ll ever play.
The greens run lightning-fast (think 12-14), so anything you leave above the hole is asking for trouble. Some holes also have turtleback greens, adding another layer of difficulty. Add in the wind coming into play off Georgian Bay on the coastal holes, and you’re not just reading greens — you’re reading the whole landscape.
And here’s the kicker: no matter what your eyes tell you, the grain has a mind of its own, with everything leaning toward the water.
