Mississauga Taekwondo

Today was painting day at our Summer Camp. The gym is filled with camper creations. We will have them hanging over the weekend. Out next camp week is July 22nd with a possibility of switching it to he week of July 29th. We will feature some of the pictures over the weekend on out FB and Instagram platforms.

We do bean bag toss while running ladder drills to establish focus.

Ladded drills are always effective for building footwork skills.

On Sunday, we celebrated with 5 of our students who graduated from either grade 12 or university. The most exciting aspect was watching the five gather as a group and discuss past, present and future with each other. They stayed after the event for another 30 minutes. Watching their enthusiasm, smiles and interaction was truly heart warming. Taekwondo and academic excellence often go hand in hand. All three grade 12 graduates are going to McMaster University in various programs.

We are celebrating our grade 8, grade 12 and university, college and trade school grads this Sunday at 4 pm. Sample of memento t-shirt for grads.

Wonderful news to share. Arthur Tung, a long time student here, has been accepted into the MD program at the University of Alberta. Congratulations from your many friends at Mississauga Taekwondo.

We have always supported our students by providing references. In addition, this year we are sponsoring the St. Francis Xavier High School Ambition night on Thursday, May 30th. We will have a laptop at our booth and will Zoom a class session so that students can see what we do. Our graduates have gone on to achieve success in academic areas with two PhD's, three at or applying to medical school and multiple at universities in a wide range of programs. At Mississauga Taekwondo, we are helping to build the future one person at a time.

Promotion Test this Friday at 6 pm.

Tonight at 8 pm is circuit training for high belts.

We will be closed Monday, May 20 for the Victoria Day holiday.
