Big congratulations to Newfoundland’s own Brad Ezekiel, who has officially been chosen by the fans the Best ISC Player of the 2010s! 🏆⚾

For a decade, Brad dominated the diamond with incredible power, clutch hitting, and elite defense, cementing his legacy as one of the most dangerous hitters in modern fastpitch history. From his World Championship wins with Team Canada to crushing it on the ISC circuit with the Hill United Chiefs, this recognition is incredibly well-deserved.

The International Softball Congress has officially dropped the Preseason Rankings for the 2026 Men’s Fastpitch season!

The defending champion Hill United Chiefs claim the #1 spot, but with a powerhouse contingent from Chippewa of the Thames (holding three of the top five spots!) and dangerous US squads like the NorthEast Drillers chasing them down, the road to Melbourne, Ontario this August is going to be a battleground. ⚔️

Shunsuke Amada is headed to GB!

Shunsuke Amada is a Japanese slugger and #1 catcher for The JTEKT Men's Softball Team, in the Japanese professional league.

Amada catches Giants' pitcher Tiaga Onishi, as well as hits for power in the 4 hole, for the JTEKT team, leading the league in HRs with 8. Amada was part of the Japanese u23 national program.

Shunsuke will be an asset when it comes to communication with the Japanese pitchers and adds an additional threat at the plate.

The Brussels Tigers Fastball Club is proud to announce a special double‑header event on May 30, held in memory of Ken “Higgi” Higgins, a beloved member of the Tigers community whose passion for fastball and dedication to the club left a lasting legacy.

Event Schedule
- 5:00 PM — Brussels Tigers vs Walton Brewers
- 7:00 PM — Brussels Tigers vs Brussels Bangers

The evening will bring together past and present Tigers players, fans, families, and community members to celebrate Higgi’s impact both on and off the field.

Food & Refreshments
- The Refreshment Tent opens at 4:30 PM, offering cold drinks and a place for fans to gather before the first pitch.
- KC’s Streeteats will be on-site serving a full menu from their popular food truck, adding to the festival atmosphere at the diamond.

A Community Celebration
This alumni event has become a highlight of the Tigers’ season, and this year’s tribute to Ken Higgins adds special meaning. The club invites everyone in the community to come out, enjoy great fastball, share memories, and support the players who proudly carry on the Tigers tradition.
