Dixie Curling Centre Since 1956, Dixie has been a staple in the Mississauga community. We offer a variety of curling leagues 7 days a week. Come Play in our House!

The Dixie Curling Centre is a member-driven fiscally responsible club striving to provide a social environment for all ages. Dixie offers excellent instructional, recreational and competitive programs to the surrounding community. The Dixie Curling Centrehas operated in its original location since 1956 and for over 50 years has provided recreational opportunities to the residents of Mississauga and surrounding communities. Dixie continues its long-standing tradition of friendliness where everyone is made to feel welcome.

Congratulations to Sue Baird on receiving the Curling Ontario Lifetime Achievement Award in the Builder Category!

Sue's contributions to the sport have had a lasting impact at both the provincial and club levels. From her key involvement with the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, to her dedication to coach development across Ontario. Sue has helped strengthen and grow the game for countless athletes and volunteers.

At Dixie, Sue has been instrumental in introducing and expanding beginner-focused programs, including Try Curling, Learn to Curl, and Novice Leagues, helping hundreds of new curlers discover and enjoy the sport.

Thank you, Sue, for your passion, leadership, and commitment to growing curling. This recognition is truly well deserved.👏

We are very proud to highlight that the City of Mississauga recognized the following Dixie community members at the Civic Awards Ceremony:

Susan Baird was recognized for her work with the Scotties and dedication to growing the sport of curling through her volunteer work at Dixie.
Fran Todd was recognized in the sports category for all she has done for the sport of curling during her years of volunteerism.
Team Genjaga U18 Team Aaron Genjaga, Aidan Campbell, Theo Barbosa, Jonathan Blais and coach Michael Genjaga were recognized in the sports category for the U18 National Silver Medal
These recognitions are so well-deserved. Congratulations!
