TESTIMONIAL -
For the last several years my life had been spiraling downwards, suffering from chronic lower back pain & shoulder impingement resulting from sports & traditional weight lifting. My injuries & daily habits had been reducing my quality of life, negatively affecting my physical capability, confidence & mental stability.
Fortunately, discovering Functional Patterns has guided me on the path to recovery & Iām now living a PAIN FREE life! But beyond that, FP provided me the tools & mindset to objectively evaluate & enhance every aspect of my life. The fact that FP accounts for all the details & little variables is what separates them from the rest, making them the best!
Receiving coaching from Anas allowed me to better understand my dysfunctions. We were able to decompress all restricted areas while associating new muscle tension. On top of that, internalizing connectivity throughout my entire body thus creating feelings I had never experienced before! The concepts learned with Anas and FP helped me develop my problem solving skills & also gave me a new perspective on what it means to live a functional life. It finally feels like Iām heading up in the right direction!
Forever grateful!

Active decompression gains and improved scapular position in 1 session, the only cue was go into your standing neutral. What does this mean? Exactly what it implies, stand with your joints in there most neutral position, the most centered position in standing.
When this is done using this goes far beyond just stacking your joints because your neuromyofascial network (all the stuff that keeps you alive and moving) is stimulated to actively pull the joints into position, which then facilitates tissue and joint decompression. When people first come to FP the usually learn how hard it is to actually stand.
Why does this matter? Well if your muscles have a hard time doing there most basic job of holding you upright against gravity, how well are they going to do when you actually start moving? That being said, this works both ways, changing the way someone moves specifically in the context of the movement humans do most (which is walking btw) will also facilitate better posture.
So how's your posture, and what are you doing about? Do you think it matters? Do you care? Should you care? Do you think it's relevant to your health? Do you see the difference between the two pictures? Comment below tell me what you think!

Aim to make changes, but also realize that any transition in life is going to come with cumulative small personal wins. This is actual success. Don't be complacent, but also don't be hard on yourself because u relapse on patterns of behavior u repeat. We all go through it. Point is that u keep working on it.

- making another group of problem solvers, . , is not just away to exercise, its a system that facilitates change in behaviour with respect to how you think, feel and adapt to your environment. Biomechanics are a physical representation of you, change your biomechanics and you'll begin to change your behaviours.

FP Doers, Practitioners and soon to be Practitioners, practicing there skills, drilling the fundamental principles behind posture/gait mechanics and sharing there stories about the postive impact has had on there lives.
If your tired of not seeing lasting results with your training and therapy, I encourage you to try functional patterns. We work to empower you to take control of your health, teaching you the skills and tools you need to be better. If you want more information please feel free to DM me and I'll book you in for a free consultation. Getting stronger structural integrity is multifaceted. At some point you need a basic understanding on how to stand, but if you think your posture is covered with basic cueing while you still have sloppy gait, you're definitely mistaken. It's a compensated posture with heaps of longitudinal compression wired in. If you follow our protocols all the way down, you'll get a good idea of what we mean. It's a rabbit hole filled with unknowns, but this is definitely one of the knowns. .
If you can sling in multiple dimensions, without compromising gait and throwing, you will have a sound posture. Take it from the ones who correct posture statically and dynamically.
