Some facts about Guyana:

-The fastest growing economy in the world for the past 6 years due to the discovery of offshore oil. Dubbed the next Dubai.

-The only country in the world to produce enough food domestically to be self sufficient.

-The only English speaking country in South America. The Mainland is in South America, but culturally Caribbean.

-Has 6 main ethnicities: Indian, African, Chinese, Portuguese, other European (British, Dutch, etc), Amerindian (Native/Indigenous)

-CARICOM is headquarted in Guyana. CARICOM is the main Organization for 15 Caribbean countries
