What makes a good player? ⚽️

For Gerard, it’s about much more than what a player can do with a ball. Decision-making, movement, body language, attacking space and how a player responds to different situations all matter.

But most importantly, young players are constantly developing. A lot can change in just a few months, which is why identifying potential takes time, patience, and repeated observation.
