Greetings,

Our 2019/20 season starts on Sunday October 20th at 4:30. Our format for the first day will be the usual open house to welcome new members and those who are considering joining us. This will be followed by a 4 end game (or more if time permits).

Before going on the ice it is necessary to complete registration and waiver forms and pay season fees of $260. A cheque made out to the Etobicoke Social Curling league or cash, will serve. We are unable to accept e-transfers.

The location is The Dixie Curling Club at 3071 Palstan Rd, Mississauga.

Dixie Curling Club requests that all participants bring clean rubber-soled shoes for use on the ice.

Drinks and socializing in the club lounge follow the game.

Looking forward to seeing members and new members.

Lee and Kevin (on behalf of the coordinating committee)

Paisley freshmart would like to hire two responsible people to work approx. 9-17 hours per week at our Bluffs General Store at Saugeen Bluffs Campground, just north of Paisley. Adults and retirees welcome to apply. Students need to be at least 16 years of age. The position begins May 17th through until Thanksgiving weekend. The store is open only Saturdays during spring and fall. During July & August the store is open Friday evening, all day Saturday, and Sunday mornings, so availability for those days is necessary.

Skills & Resources Needed: able to get themselves to The Bluffs, able to chat with customers and answer questions about the camp and the general area, able to handle cash and be good at math, be responsible, clean & tidy.

This is a great job in a beautiful setting, but requires the ability to react appropriately to numerous different situations in dealing with campers and vacationers. If you are interested, please e-mail a resume to [email protected] or leave your resume at Paisley freshmart with a covering letter explaining why you would like to work at The Bluffs General Store.
