The Moncton Wildcats today announced Kevin Simpson as their new General Manager of Business Operations, effective August 1, 2026.

"We’re excited to have Kevin join our team as we start our 31st season. I know he’ll receive an amazing Moncton and East Coast welcome,” said Wildcats President R.J. Irving.

Les Wildcats de Moncton ont annoncé aujourd’hui la nomination de Kevin Simpson à titre de directeur général de l'administration, à compter du 1er août 2026.

« Nous sommes ravis de l’accueillir au sein de notre équipe alors que nous amorçons notre 31e saison. Je sais qu’il recevra un accueil chaleureux typiquement monctonien et maritime lorsqu’il se joindra à nous,» a déclaré R.J. Irving, président des Wildcats de Moncton.

💣 Back-to-Back Jean Rougeau Champions add Detroit Red Wings Prospect 💣

The Moncton Wildcats have signed Myles Brosnan to a QMJHL Scholarship and Development Agreement ahead of the 2026-2027 season.

Brosnan is a recent graduate of Dexter Southfield School, where he was team captain and accumulated 51 points in 30 games. During the 2025-2026 season Brosnan also spent time with the USA National Development Program, Sioux City Musketeers (USHL) and was a participant in the Chipotle All-American Top Prospects Game.

He was recently selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft and is committed to Harvard University following his junior career.
