Dunrae Gardens was honoured to welcome Kristen Fox, Terry Fox’s niece, for an inspiring presentation. She shared the remarkable stories of perseverance 💪 and determination her uncle showed in the months following his cancer diagnosis, and how he channelled that experience into his legendary Marathon of Hope. She reminded us that Terry always faced adversity with hope and positivity 😃 His legacy continues to inspire millions 🤩 👏

Le 14 mai, nos élèves de 2e année ont vécu une expérience sucrée et éducative en visitant les abeilles 🐝 à Intermiel, à Mirabel! Ils ont découvert le fascinant travail des abeilles, l’importance de la pollinisation et les secrets de la fabrication du miel. 🍯 Une sortie enrichissante dont ils se souviendront longtemps!

🚀 Throughout the month of May, our students have enjoyed several exciting field trips! On May 12th, our third-grade students had the amazing opportunity to visit the Cosmodome in Laval. They explored the wonders of space, participated in engaging activities, and had a fantastic time learning and discovering together! 🌟🪐

🌿 Last week, Monsieur Éric, Daniel Gervais, his son Nathan Gervais (third-grade student) and Jack Di Pietro (fifth-grade student) did an absolutely incredible job installing the heavy-duty cedar arch in our school garden 🪴 Le jardin de Dunrae 🪴
They worked tirelessly 🥱 after school and managed to build and securely anchor the entire structure in just one day — an amazing accomplishment! 🎉👏

Both M. Éric and Mr. Gervais have been putting so much time, energy, and care into transforming this part of the schoolyard into a special, fun, and educational space for all of our students to enjoy and learn from. 🙏

A massive thank you to everyone involved for helping bring this beautiful project to life. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated! 🌱💚
