The only cardio I recommend to women over 35 who want results without spending hours at the gym.

Here’s why sprint intervals training work :

❤️ Cardiovascular health: improves heart and lung capacity faster than steady state cardio in a fraction of the time.

🔥 Reduces body fat: short intense efforts trigger a hormonal response that helps your body burn fat even after you’re done.

💪🏽 Preserves lean muscle mass: unlike long cardio sessions that break down muscle, sprints actually help you keep the muscle you’re building in the gym.

Research on women specifically shows that sprint intervals are more effective than moderate-intensity cardio for improving body composition and metabolic health especially as hormones start shifting between 35 and 45.

Here’s an example. Pick what feels good on your joints 🚴 air bike 🚣 rowing machine 🏃 treadmill sprint or incline.

The rule: if you can talk during your sprint, it’s not a sprint and if you skip the full recovery, you’re just doing cardio.

Do this 1 to 2 times a week max pair it with your strength training not instead of it.
