At Making Mindful Moves we believe that Mental Toughness can be cultivated by the 4Cs: CONTROL, COMMITMENT, CONFIDENCE and CHALLENGE.
Allow that conversation to be reassuring.
Remind yourself of all you’ve accomplished in all facets of your life.
Remind yourself to trust in your skill set and to trust in your practiced abilities and not in the voice of self-doubt.
Remind yourself it’s ok to take risks, to be fearless, to be that WARRIOR, to question that preferential mind so you may step out of your comfort zone into that rewarding zone of empowerment.

There is no learning or growth that happens in the comfort zone.
Muscles get bigger when the fibers sustain damage. Once the muscle is damaged, the body can repair that muscle which can then lead to increased size and mass.
This is the same for our mind. We can only build resilience through the challenges that we are faced with, allowing us to grow mentally stronger each time.
A simple reminder to observe your attitude the next time a challenge is thrown your way. Are you getting stuck in your "monkey brain", or are you making a conscious effort to cultivate your Warrior self and see it as an opportunity to learn and grow?

When faced with challenges, how kind are you to yourself?
Though we can't control certain circumstances, we DO control how we speak to ourselves.
A simple reminder today to be kind to yourself.

Often the first step in cultivating a “warrior self” or “our best version” is by clearly establishing our priorities.
When we say we do not have the time to work out or to meditate, what we’re really saying is, it is not my priority.
A simple reminder today, prioritize and commit to yourself, commit to the warrior.
