The Quarterfinals are in the books, and the drama is just getting started. I went 3 for 4 on my picks—not too shabby—but things are about to get even wilder. Here’s the breakdown for the final four:
🔥 Semifinal #1: (1) Jeeps vs. (5) Orange You Glad To See Us
The top seed meets the bracket-busters in 14 days! The big question hanging over the Orange Will Captain Lee be back? If he returns, does he spark the squad or mess with the chemistry that got them here?
The Prediction: I’m calling the shocker. Team Orange keeps the momentum rolling in a 7-5 thriller to punch their ticket to the dance! 🍊
⚔️ Semifinal #2: (2) Spartans vs. (3) Fast For Play
The Spartans haven't missed a beat despite losing their captain for the season. In fact, Dufour has stepped in and looked like a massive upgrade on the ice. On the flip side, Fast For Play (terrible name, great game!) just played their defensive masterpiece of the year.
The Prediction: Defense wins championships, but can they do it twice? I say yes. Fast For Play advances in a 5-4 nail-biter. 🛡️

MBHL Masters Playoff Preview
Well guys, it’s that time again: playoffs.
Below are my predictions for the quarterfinals. Please take these with a grain of salt—remember, I picked AJ’s team to finish first and they ended up dead last. So, with that being said, here we go:
Quarterfinal #1: Jeeps (1) vs. Misfits (8)
These two just played last night in a closely contested matchup. In my opinion, that was the worst thing that could’ve happened to the Misfits. If they had been blown out, JP’s team might have taken them for granted. Now? Not a chance.
Prediction: Team JP moves on to the semis with a 7-3 win.

Quarterfinal #2: Spartans (2) vs. TNT (7)
Here’s another team I was wrong about. When Jeff Gray took Eric Bouchard in round two, I said he was out of his mind. I was wrong again. However, in this specific matchup—and playing without their captain—I see an upset brewing.
Prediction: TNT pulls off the upset in an 8-5 victory.

Quarterfinal #3: Fast4Play (3) vs. Carnage (6)
This is an interesting one. Carnage has been so inconsistent all year that I don’t even know what their actual lineup looks like. Side note: "Fast4Play" is a terrible team name.
Prediction: Fast4Play moves on with a 10-6 win.

Quarterfinal #4: Blue Shirts (4) vs. Orange You Glad To See Us (5)
The Sandwich Man vs. Lee Should Sit. I expect a high-scoring track meet here, with Joe C making just one more save than Franco’s sandwiches
Prediction: orange you glad to see us take it in a 9-8 win.
