With another draft in the books, the league has officially set the stage for what promises to be a chaotic and highly competitive season.
Here is how the rounds broke down, featuring standard trends, baffling strategies, and major value shifts.

Round 1: The Wild Card & The ReturnThe first round went mostly as expected, but it wasn't without its fireworks.Kosta's Return: In a major comeback storyline, Kosta re-emerged back into the first round, resetting his status as a premier player in the league.

Bury’s Wild Card: Team Mike Bury shook up the board early by reaching for a first-round wild card. If the underlying metrics and statistics hold true, this high-risk move could easily end up being the absolute steal of the entire draft.

Round 2: The Timer Blunder & Alain’s Slide

The second round followed a predictable script for most, until a major administrative mix-up and a shocking player slide changed the dynamic.

The Round Mix-Up: Mike Bury provided the comedy/drama of the night, mistakenly drafting under the impression that he was picking for the 3rd round instead of the 2nd. Time will tell how this accidental strategy alters his roster.

Alain Drops: Former consensus first-rounder Alain suffered a massive slide, dropping all the way into the second half of the second round—a shocking fall from grace that represents immense value for whoever stopped the bleeding.

Rounds 3 & 4: Reach vs. ValueThe Reach:

In Round 3, JP let his heart guide his draft board, heavily over-drafting his buddy. Most league insiders agree he could have easily waited at least another round to secure his guy.

The Fall: Round 4 marked a historic milestone for Jimmy G, who was once again drafted in the fourth round for the first time in a decade, signaling a massive shift in league valuation.

Rounds 5 & 6: Team Fox Defies the Critics

The middle rounds cruised by with little incident, until Round 6 blew the doors off the draft room.
The Shocker: Team Fox stunned the league by selecting Mark Dubois in the sixth round. Despite immediate backlash, Team Fox explicitly told the nay-sayers to sit tight and "we will see," trusting their evaluation over the consensus.

The Final Rounds: Traditions and Mind Games

The Streak Continues: In keeping with ultimate league tradition, Perry maintained his legendary streak, once again finding himself selected in the very final round.

Psychological Warfare: In a brilliant bit of locker-room motivation, Nikita was intentionally drafted immediately after his friend to send a direct message and spark a competitive fire for the season ahead.

Looking Ahead: The Power Rankings & Prediction

Admittedly, last year's predictions did not go entirely to plan. After picking Team Grey to finish near the bottom, they went on a tear to finish the season in 1st place. Keeping that reverse-jinx in mind, if you find yourself at the bottom of this list, history says you are likely bound for a fantastic year.
