Bonne nouvelle, nous allons accueillir 3 demandeurs d'asile originaires du Zimbabwe et de la République Démocratique du Congo cette fin de semaine à notre initiation à la randonnée en refuge! Pour deux d'entre eux, ça fait seulement quelques semaines qu'ils sont au Québec! C'est dernière minute, mais si ça vous dit de les parrainer, n'hésitez pas à faire un don pour nous aider à payer leur transport, hébergement, nourriture etc.! 2 places viennent de se libérer pour notre initiation interculturelle à la randonnée en refuge les 19 et 20 octobre au sentier Inter-Centre près de St-Donat! Nous organisons le transport par covoiturage/location de voiture, nous organisons les repas en groupe, et nous fournirons le matériel de randonnée pour ceux et celles qui n’en ont pas (sac à dos 60L, sac de couchage, matelas de camping, bâtons). Départ de la station Crémazie samedi matin et retour dimanche soir. 7 km de randonnée par jour. Ateliers sur les plantes, les arbres et les champignons! Two spots just became available for our intercultural intro to backpacking outing on October 19th and 20th! We’re going to the Inter-Centre trail near St. Donat. We’ll organise transportation by carpooling from metro Crémazie, Saturday am with a return Sunday pm. We’ll organise group food and have gear to lend as needed (60L backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, poles). 7 km of hiking per day. There will be workshops on wild plants, trees and mushrooms!
