We have signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated, the new international authority for the accreditation of laboratories and related bodies. 🤝
Why it matters?
This partnership will contribute to ensuring that anti-doping laboratories around the world maintain the standards laid out in the rules.
What is the agreement about?
The agreement will support:
✔️ the exchange of information on accreditation criteria
✔️ the development of harmonized guidelines
✔️ opportunities for collaboration across committees and working groups

‘Operation LIMS’ has now passed the 300 sanctions mark, marking the most successful investigation in anti-doping history. 👏
To date, there have been a total of 302 sanctions imposed against 291 athletes by 23 Anti-Doping Organizations, based on data and samples that were successfully retrieved by our Intelligence and Investigations team from the Moscow Laboratory in 2019.
A total of 22 sports were involved to some degree, highlighting the scale of this investigation and the importance of intelligence and investigations in the protection of clean sport. ✅

Strengthening Anti-Doping Collaboration in Africa: Morocco & Gabon Join Forces
🌍 The Director of our Africa Office, Rodney Swigelaar, together with Angela Ramirez, Manager of our Engagement & Development department, recently visited Gabon to support and facilitate a strategic partnership between the National Anti-Doping Organizations of Morocco and Gabon.
This collaboration aims to strengthen institutional capacity, promote knowledge sharing, and support the development of sustainable anti-doping programs in Gabon. Through this initiative, Morocco NADO will provide technical guidance and expertise to advance key areas of implementation and compliance.
This visit highlights our ongoing commitment to fostering regional cooperation and building strong, sustainable anti-doping systems across Africa. 🤝
