¿Quieres ser partícipe de una experiencia de aprendizaje de idiomas entretenida e interactiva? Soy latina (chilena), trilingüe (Inglés, Francés y Español) y he vivido la mayor parte de mi vida en Canadá. Además de tener un BA en Sociología y Psicología, soy Traductora Inglés-Español de la U de Toronto y durante 25 años ejercí como consejera de estudiantes en Concordia University, una de las dos universidades anglófonas más grandes de Quebec. Ello, además de ser miembro de la International Coaching Federation y haberme especializado en el Coaching Académico. Todo eso es válido, pero nada tanto como mi pasión por enseñar idiomas y trabajar en el sector de la educación.

To all my English or French-speaking friends (and friends of friends):
IF you agree with me, you probably believe that languages are like keys in your key holder. Especially when there is no pressure, no obligation, just the desire to communicate with more people around the world and who knows, make new friends in far away places on the map !!!
My 4th one--the 4th key in my keyholder--will be Portuguese as I love the idea of travelling to Portugal or Brazil and being able to communicate with new potential friends!

At the same time, I'm helping several language-passionate students of all ages, cultural and educational backgrounds to improve their English or Spanish. Yeeees!!! I'm a U of T, certified English-Spanish translator who has already been the official translator of 3 published books into Spanish. Also, in the past year, I discovered that teaching languages is one of my biggest passions.

I can also imagine how much it may motivate you to work on your Spanish knowing that there are at least 22 countries in the world where Spanish is the official language, with many others where it is at least the 2nd most important one...

Well... an article that appeared in "Euro News" on the 4th of May of 2023 entitled ‘The Power of Language’: 5 ways multilingual brains work differently" will tell you a lot more about how valuable it is to be multilingual.... It talks about book released not long ago that explores the research around multilingualism. Did you know for example that speaking more than one language can help you age better? It is really fascinating..(Unfortunately I cannot directly publish the article in FB due to the current regulations but I hope you can read it!)

I have just recently began teaching languages and already have several students to whom I teach online with occasional get-togethers at local restaurants or other places to make it even more fun.
