Quelles RÈGLES ?! Il existe des directives indéniables concernant le respect et l’égalité, par exemple
✅ portez des caches-mamelons (« pasties »), peu importe le type de poitrine que vous avez
✅ ne mettez pas de lubrifiant/cire/liquide sur la scène sans un plan pour la nettoyer
✅ Etc.
Mais sinon - le burlesque est une question d’individualité et de libre expression. SOYEZ VOUS-MÊME !

This class is inspired by Pilates, burlesque, and cardio to offer a rotation of high-intensity exercises, muscle strengthening, and mobility, all with a touch of sensuality. Thanks to slow and repetitive movements, you will work your deep muscles and learn to sublimate your figure through immobility. The more dynamic part will allow you to reveal your inner dance queen!

It is with a heavy heart, but with heads full of wonderful memories, that we must share some important news:
Arabesque Burlesque on the plaza will close its doors at the end of the summer.
It is the end of a memorable chapter on the Plaza, but we intend to celebrate it with a bang. This is your last chance to make the most of it.

The class combines breathing, gentle movement explorations, and dance improvisation integrated with mental imagery for ease and accessibility. To provide easy, empowering, and effective tools to increase balance, stage presence, expressiveness, sensuality, and the ability to radiate confidence and magnetic energy while performing. Participants will explore practical tips to improve their walk learning how to own the space they enter and move through it with intention and presence.

#1 scariest thing when first starting burlesque is often putting together a costume. It can be so overwhelming. Start small and take it step-by-step.

What RULES?! There are some undeniable guidelines around respect and equality eg
✅ wear pasties no matter what kind of chest you have
✅ don’t put lube/wax/liquid on the stage without a plan to clean it up
✅ Etc.
But otherwise - burlesque is about individuality and free expression. BE YOURSELF!
