Friday Class at Gelinas Academy of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) -Kajukenbo HQ Canada

The Kajukenbo Family Tree is in continual evolution. As new Black Belts are graduated, they move into their positions on their instructor’s family trees.

What we are trying to do with the Kajukenbo FamilyTree is to record the History of that evolution, and to make it available to those who might want a ”reminder” of that particular time in their lives. To that end we ask that the updates are forwarded to us so that we can update the”Whole” Kajukenbo Family Tree at least once per calendar year.

FYI, the Kajukenbo Family Tree is continually updated, but the log jam of updates occurs when a lot of updates are submitted at the same time of year.

Normally the updates are sent to us and the Kajukenbo Family Tree is updated as those updates arrive. The updates are done personally by me, (Philip Gelinas) on the IOS computer maintained for this purpose. It is updated via the Adobe Program “InDesign” that is maintained by me (Philip Gélinas) for this purpose (it is paid for monthly, under subscription with Adobe).

Lately the program has stumbled a little as the size handling needs have grown bigger than the Mac OS can control. We are actively looking for the best way to improve this function, but it has been stressful.

Know that we had to invest over $4,000 this year so as to keep on top of the demands of this project.

Please don’t give up on us. We are trying to improve. We think the problem is in the amount of RAM we have on board (48GB). And we are looking to increase it.
