A little breaky this AM. Iterations of this have been my breakfast since the quarantine.

I love this breakfast because it's fast and very satiating. 3 very different tastes, 3 very different textures and 3 things that pair so well together!
Disclaimer: I sometimes leave out the avocado because it isn't my favorite ðĪŠð

Tried my hand at a homemade pan pizza the other day! It was a 12/10 but soooooo filling. Maybe I shouldn't have had a whole one to myself ð
The long weekend is upon us! What are you going to do? Lay on the couch and eat chips??? No! Not you... you're going to make the best of the weekend and incorporate your healthy lifestyle habits! Get at it my friends!
With my new work schedule and commute it's been tough to get into the gym... but I've sliced the problem! lunchtime workouts are the absolute best for my work day. I like getting out of the office for a quick yet effective 30-40 minute workout before heading back to the office. Moral of the story: Make it work! the best time to workout is whenever you can do it consistently! Let's get it done!
Confession time... Since Monday this week I've been struggling with getting into the gym. While it's definitely my happy place, I sometimes go through these periods.
While I've been struggling a bit in that regard, one thing that I've been excelling at is keeping an eye on my eating. It's one thing that we ALL make time to do... because we want to live ð
). Your eating shouldn't fall off because you haven't been exercising. And when you're not training adjust your eating goals to reflect that decrease in energy demand!

Communication and planning is key. Your meal plan doesn't have to be static and rigid. Fit your life into it and allow yourself some flexibility. I don't always like to have a set day for my relaxed meals. Sometimes I like to set those days around meaningful events or get togethers. Order a meal with your accountability partner and split it! One healthier option and one relaxed option and enjoy! Creating a more mindful and healthier relationship with your eating habits is the best way to win in the long run. Take little steps each day that head in the direction of your goal and you'll arrive right on time.
Its been 3 weeks of these videos and if you've been coming along on this journey with me, I thank you. This is the point where most people decide if their going to continue or if their going to start making excuses and backing off. Please, please, please continue. Do this for yourself and make the decision to make this time THE time that you push through the barrier and get the results you came for!
