McGill University Rowing Club

Our final graduating senior is Jacob!! Jacob has spent four years with McGill rowing and during that time he has cemented himself as both a leader, and a friend to all. His bright demeanor invites people in and he is always able to answer whatever questions are asked of him. The team will miss him!!

The seventh McGill Rowing senior to celebrate is Eloise!! Eloise can always be trusted to look fierce despite any early wake up. Having spent a phenomenal four years with McGill Rowing, she will be so so missed!!

Our sixth senior to celebrate is Ayoub!! Ayoub's trajectory in rowing has been nothing short of phenomenal. Starting as a novice and rising to U23 Worlds last summer, his hard work and dedication to the sport has payed off tenfold. On the team, he is a quiet leader who always leads by example. Good luck on your next adventure!

The fifth senior to celebrate is our graduating coxswain, Varya! Varya started her journey as a novice cox and spent her years at McGill becoming someone who other coxswains look up to as a leader and, more importantly, call their friend. Her humor, style, and presence will be greatly missed on the rowing team, but we all know that her next steps beyond McGill will be nothing short of spectacular. We'll miss you Varya!!

The fourth senior to celebrate is Pat!! His time spent with McGill Rowing is nothing short of spectacular. He has won at least one (and in most cases many more) medal every year, and rounded out his career with a gold at CURCs. His presence on the team as a reliable, hardworking person will not be forgotten, and his legacy will no doubt stay with McGill for a long time. McGill Rowing will miss you Pat!

Our third senior to spotlight is the lovely Emilie Reid!! Over the past four years Emilie's grounding presence has been undeniable but her skills on the water (being able to jump in any boat that needed her) to her spectacular camera skills off the water will be equally missed. Emilie, we know whatever you are going to do next you will do it well!!

It's that time of year again... time to show some love to all of the graduating seniors on the team!

First up is the lovely Juliette! She's been lighting up the basin with her smile for an incredible three years and we all can't wait to see what the future holds for her!!

Thank you to all the alumni who came out to celebrate 100 years of McGill rowing with us at the Canadian University Rowing Championships! We christened four singles followed by an amazing social inside. Thank you again to all who came out.... and to the alumni living in Toronto, we hope to see you all at the challenge!! Get hype!
