Had a good time at Hyo Setsu Kenjutsu Dojo - 飄雪武館 and teaching our schools style of Ikebana.
Montreal Kenjutsu Dojo teaches a koryu or “old style” of Kenjutsu. The art was originally founded during the Muromachi period in Japan.
The Muromachi period, also known as the "Warring States Period" was a time of great strife for Japan. It was a time when Daimyo or warlords from various provinces were vying for military supremacy. Finally after many years of downtime due to world events we are VERY happy to announce class will be resuming, in a new and exciting location. Tension Montreal has opened their doors to us and are allowing us access to once again resume training. Cost is $50 with all cash going to Montreal Tension. Should you voluntarily choose to spend more, anything over an above the initial $50 will go to Hyo Setsu.

Due to the very good chance of freezing rain this evening, and for the safety of students I am cancelling class today (March 2nd, 2020) Class will resume as normal next week.
FYI to students: Class will start at 8pm as regular, but Sensei will be there at 7pm to train on his own. Students are welcome to come early if they wish to work on their own thing. Note: there will be no instruction until 8pm, but the space will be available.
