Judo is many things to different people.

It is an Olympic sport, an art, a recreational and social activity, a fitness program, a means of self-defense and for many people, a way of life.

Weโ€™re excited to share that the Moose Jaw Koseikan Judo Club will be hosting a Huge Garage Sale Fundraiser next month โ€” and weโ€™d love your support to make it a success!

๐Ÿ“… Event Dates & Times

Friday, May 22, 2026: 1:00 PM โ€“ 8:00 PM

Saturday, May 23, 2026: 9:00 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM

There will be a wide variety of items, great deals, and something for everyone. Bring your friends, family, and neighbours to enjoy this fun community event.

Weโ€™ll also be running a Hot Dog & Drink Sale, so you can grab a bite while you shop.

---Donation Drop-Offs Begin Wednesday, May 20---

We will be accepting donations of gently used items for the sale. You can bring donations to the club starting Wednesday, May 20 in the evening after 6:30pm.

If you have larger items or need help arranging drop-off, please reach out.

---Volunteers Needed โ€“ Setup on Thursday, May 21 - 6:30pm---

Weโ€™ll be setting up for the sale on Thursday, May 21, and we could really use some extra hands to lift mats and get tables set up. Help is also needed with sorting, organizing, and pricing.

---Volunteers Needed for the Weekend---

To keep things running smoothly during the sale, weโ€™re also looking for volunteers to help with:

Hot Dog & Drink Sale

Cash Table / Customer Checkout

If youโ€™re able to take a shift on either day, it would make a huge difference. We will be sending out a sign up sheet for volunteers closer to the event!

---Table Rentals Available---

A limited number of tables are available for rent (by donation) if you know someone who is looking to sell some items of their own. Perfect for those people who live in apartments or who don't have a place to have a sale at their own homes. Ensure that they reserve early to secure a spot. You can share the attached poster on social media, or print and share around town!
