ANNOUNCEMENT: Ben Kent is the 2025 Irish Heritage Player of the Year for the the Southeast Region! The Irish Baseball and Softball Heritage Awards are proudly presented by the Ancient Order of Hibernians in America.

Ben is a 3B/INF/P from Orlando, FL, by way of Newfoundland! Before moving to Orlando, Ben was the captain of his hometown hockey team in Canada. Ben is a dual citizen of Ireland and Canada and an Honors student at TNXL Baseball in Ocoee, FL. Ben represented Ireland at the 2025 18U European Baseball Championships B-Pool Qualifying Tournament.

Canes Canada Atlantic Baseball is proud to partner with the Embassy of Ireland - Canada, Baseball Ireland, the Ottawa Patriots Baseball Team, and the Ottawa Gaels GAA for a special showcase, celebrating the connection between Ireland and Canada through sport.

If you are in the Ottawa area, join us this Saturday, October 25th, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Ben Franklin Superdome in Nepean for The Atlantic Pitch — a unique event highlighting the shared values of teamwork, culture, and friendship through baseball and hurling.
