Pleasantdale Community Skating Rink

Hey everyone. The skating rink is flooded and ready to go! This year because it’s so late in the year, the board has decided to wave all skating fees. However we will be accepting donations if you so choose. Please contact Darlene Fredin if you wish to book a time to skate. 874-5768. Or Terri McLaren at 921-3903. Also we are always looking for volunteers to help.

Took the kids skating yesterday. The lights are all replaced and the ice is awesome! All we needed was a cold spell to get some good ice!

Due to COVID the rink has to function a little differently this year. NO NETS on the ice. More people are able to use the ice at a time without them.

We are also looking for people interested in volunteering for shifts. This is to ensure people skating have pre booked, proper sanitization happens following, and we are following all safety measures put in place.

Also please be aware. In order to skate a waiver must be signed prior. We will attach a copy for you to sign in a different post coming up.
