4 WEEKS. SIMPLE HABITS. NOTICEABLE RESULTS.

Are you tired of starting over every Monday? 🙋‍♀️
Maybe you’re feeling stuck and just aren’t seeing positive changes…in your sleep, your mindset, or your habits.

Maybe it’s time to focus on Progress Over Perfection 🤔

Let’s be real—consistency is the hardest part of any health journey. 🤝

In 2024 I was going through a busy stressful time with selling my house and moving my business. I put on a lot of unhealthy weight during this transition. It didn’t happen over night. It was slowly, over a year. As a coach and personal trainer, it can be embarrassing to admit. But I’m human, and this is real life ♥️😅

I’ve lost 36 lbs of that unhealthy weight since September of 2025. It’s been 8 months of still enjoying the foods that I like, not really restricting myself much, but just practicing what I preach. Lifestyle changes that I can consistently do to get me towards my goals.

I am hosting a FREE 4-Week "Consistency Challenge" to help us build core healthy habits together. No wild diets, no 2-hour workouts—just simple, daily actions to get you feeling energized and consistent. 🔥

We are going to practice core habits for 4 weeks to create a sustainable lifestyle, not a quick fix.

What you get:
💫 4 weeks of accountability
💫 Regular Check-ins
💫 Supportive Community
💫 Simple Daily Action Items

Some things we will focus on:
💧 Hydration
🚶‍♀️ Daily Movement
🥗 Fueling your body
🧠 Mindset/Self-care

So, we have no bread in the house and I’m still getting over a cold so I didn’t want to go grocery shopping. I played with 4 ingredients and friends, let me tell you! It turned out so good!

1 cup of cottage cheese
1 egg
3/4 cup Kodiak pancake mix
1/2 cup all purpose flour

Makes 4 servings. I made 3 buns and a little flat bread thing 😁
The numbers are good!

One serving has:
209 calories
17.5g of protein
27g of carbs
3.5g of fat

I’m a kitchen scientist 🧑‍🔬 lol
Seriously though, took me 10 minutes to prep and 15 minutes to bake! 20 minutes from feeling hungry and having a craving, to fresh high protein bread in my belly 👏 and there’s lots of room in those macros to add all sorts of toppings!

✨ Expectations, Success & Eating with Intention ✨

When we remove expectations, we remove the failure mindset…
Because those expectations —
“I should eat perfectly.”
“I can’t drink wine.”
“I must hit my macros every day.”
— create pressure, shame, and guilt.
And when we don’t meet them perfectly, we spiral into self-criticism instead of self-leadership.

All-or-nothing thinking comes from our brain’s craving for certainty. It wants clear rules: “I can” or “I can’t.”
But life — and especially nutrition — isn’t meant to live in black and white.

When we give ourselves flexibility, we create space for growth. 🌱
Research shows that rigid dieting and all-or-nothing thinking lead to rebound eating, stress, and burnout…But flexible restraint, paired with self-reflection, leads to long-term consistency and psychological well-being.

In other words —
👉 The more we think in multiple shades, the more sustainable our habits become.

I don’t tell clients what to do. I help them make better choices.
When someone wants to improve their relationship with alcohol, I don’t say, “You can’t have wine.”Instead, I teach them to pause and ask:
🍷 “Do I really want this right now?”
💭 “How will I feel after?”
🎯 “Does this align with my goals?”

That pause matters. Even a 90-second pause between impulse and action can shift the brain from emotional reactivity to conscious decision-making.
And that’s what self-leadership looks like — It’s not saying “I can’t.” It’s saying “I choose.”
The same goes for food. Instead of “I can’t have chocolate,” ask yourself:
🍫 “Is this something I want?”
💫 “Does it fit my goals?”
💪 “Is this helping me become the person I’m working toward?”

When we stop labeling food as good or bad and start asking better questions, we build awareness —and awareness leads to change.

💡 So what? What does this mean to me?

When we let go of perfection, we let go of the fear of failure. Every choice becomes feedback. Every moment becomes practice.
That’s how you build habits rooted in responsibility — not restriction.
So this Thanksgiving weekend, be intentional with your choices. 🦃✨None of the food or drinks you enjoy are “good” or “bad.” You don’t eat like this every day —
Gather. Celebrate. Savour. Then get back on track the next day.

It’s not about perfection — it’s about awareness, reflection, and choice. 💛

Was feeling tired last night so I wanted to make tracking my dinner as easy as possible.
Put the lettuce leaves on the scale and tracked as I built my wraps 😁
100g of ground turkey breast
100g of cottage cheese
I needed to get 35g of protein in this meal…that was easy 😉
