Translating clinical assessment into movement solutions takes more than a checklist. It requires seeing how a body actually moves, holds, and adapts under load.
Join us on September 26 for our Clinical Pilates Workshop in Nanaimo or live via Zoom.
Designed for health and movement practitioners, this 8 CEC course bridges the space between initial assessment and real-world strength.
We will spend the day breaking down core Pilates foundations: posture analysis, breath mechanics, pelvic and scapular stabilization, and cervical placement. You will learn to test these foundations, spot compensations, and apply immediate modifications so your clients find relief from pain while building capability they can trust.
Expect an interactive, hands-on environment where we practice the exercises and refine our teaching cues together, leaving you ready to apply these tools in your practice the very next day.
A comprehensive, updating exercise manual and full session recording are included.
Space is limited for in-person attendance. Reserve your spot or register for the virtual stream at the link in our bio.

If you spend 6+ hours at a desk, stretching your tight shoulders won’t fully fix the ache. As a kinesiologist, here is what actually changes the game:
1️⃣ Movement > Static Posture: Holding a “perfect” upright posture all day causes muscle fatigue. Shift positions, fidget, and stand up often.
2️⃣ Wake Up the Posteriors: Sitting puts your glutes and upper back to sleep. Focus on exercises that strengthen the muscles behind you rather than just stretching the front.
3️⃣ Micro-Breaks: Every 30–45 minutes, do 30 seconds of chest openers, shoulder rolls, or standing hip extensions.
