This year marks the half-century anniversary of the Vic-Maui International Yacht Race and we're racing! Follow our racing and delivery crews as we prepare for and participate in this adventure of a lifetime. We'll be crossing the ocean from Victoria all the way to Lahaina, Mauiāa total distance of 2308 nautical miles to the finish line!

Who is glued to the Van Isle 360 Tracker? Several NYC members are out off Estevan Point and Tofino in light wind and west coast swell, making their way to the Leg 7 finish in Ucluelet. The fleed slowed and compressed overnight and are waiting for the wind to fill in again. George Bishop's Expresso Racing is out there with a crew of NYC members. David McCallum is riding on Riva, and Ben Daniel may be out there on Smoke, if he managed to get away from classes at UVic for an extended weekend. Did I miss anyone?

And they're off to Ucluelet! A wet morning with good breeze but it might be a bumpy ride
Today is Captain George's birthday š„³ What better way to spend it than a day out on the water!
Leg 3 saw some excellent sailing and a 4th place finish! Happy sailors all around.
