Hi Team!

We have a solid group of members looking to submit lift videos for the 2026 Norcal Open, but we are looking for at least one more lifter to join the team.

Lift videos must be recorded and submitted between Monday July 27th, 8:00 AM PST – July 31st, 11:00 PM PST.

You can have your set recorded at the club at the following classes:

Monday July 27 - 6 AM or 5:30 PM (Jerk and Sn**ch)
Wednesday July 29 - 6 AM or 5:30 PM (Longcycle)
Friday July 31 - 6 AM or 5:30 PM (Double Half Sn**ch and OALC)

If you have not registered for the event yet please DM me as we are looking for one more lifter for this year's team!

Tempo sn**ch

Are we working quality, quantity, or intensity?

Is your sn**ch a little too wishy-washy and all your reps blend into each other? Do you get no counts in competition when you think you should be getting the points.

You might want to consider adding tempo sn**ch to your training. It will force you to work on coming to a complete stop before starting your next rep.

Having trouble with the kettlebell swing? You have to try the cone drill! Once you do, you'll never use another tool for teaching the kettlebell swing again!

But of course only a fool has a toolbox with only one tool in it. But you should definitely add this one to the box!
