Nanaimo Rowing Club Rowing Club based on Lake Lake in Nanaimo offering programs for Jr's (age 12-18) Senior (19-27) and Our members range in age from 12-75 years old.

Our clubhouse is located on Long Lake in Nanaimo, BC, where we are able to train almost year-round. We have a strong group of competitive junior rowers and a small but enthusiastic group of masters (that's anyone over 27 years old!).

Nanaimo rower Kiersten Mort competed for Canada in the World Coastal Rowing Championships on Oct 11 and 12 in Qingdao, China! Mort and her doubles partner Sutcliffe came 10th for Canada. Kiersten is a dedicated rower for both flat water and coastal rowing, the following weekend she rowed a single at the Head of the Charles in Boston in a very competitive field of 36. Well done Kiersten!!

Day 1&2 complete! With just 1 more day to go, NRC has been doing very well at the Challenge West Regatta at Elk Lake.
Many athletes made it to A Finals, some made it into the top 3 and a couple others captured gold!
Thank you to everyone (parents, athletes, and coaches!) who has helped this regatta run so smoothly. Good luck for Day 3!

Thank you to Coach Richard, summer coaches, and our athletes who helped put on such a successful Come Try Rowing Event. We had over 20 individuals come out today and there was lots of interest in joining the club!
