I am overjoyed to announce my equipment and trailer have been sold to a couple starting their own mobile business serving communities that desperately need programs for children of all ages.
My heart is healing, the legacy lives on!

I'm overwhelmed by the responses I have received, both interest rates n the equipment as well as the heartfelt words of support.
I am now working on a price list and will get back to everyone tomorrow when I am not as emotional.
This is probably the hardest thing I've had to do (next to fighting cancer which is on going for the rest of my life) so please be patient with me❤️

Hello my Monkey Business family and friends!
I’m reaching out to anyone who may have a 2 bedroom rental for myself and my 65yr old sister Joanne for the beginning of March. She currently lives alone in New Westminster and is in the middle to late stage of Alzheimer’s and needs daily care. Jo is a joy to be around, loves pets and although we don’t have any, we would like the door to be open to a small animal, likely an old cat like ourselves, lol.

I love the Nanoose Bay Area as it is where I have lived for 3 years amd where I am currently working doing housekeeping and yard work for seniors since COVID closed my business. Open to any area within driving distance.

I wish this was an update regarding the re-start of Monkey Business Gymnastics; however, your guess is as good as mine at this point. When it is time, we will be ready to go❤️

Thank you to my beautiful daughters, my big bro, my friends and gymnastics families who have helped get me where I am today - sane (clinically, lol) and hopeful.

With the loss of my business to COVID, in addition to a myriad of events that have completely changed the course of my life, I am happy to say I came out on the other side stronger and wiser. But I sure fell into a deep hole for several months, so deep I didn’t think I would ever crawl out.

After realizing Monkey Business was NOT going to be in business anytime soon, I started doing yard work and housekeeping for seniors in my area.
The day I reached into my bag of rags to buff up the shine on someone’s toilet and pulled out an old Monkey Business shirt, well, that was my straw that broke me.

For a month I drive around in a daze, from Victoria to stay with my daughter Jessie Sieben, to Malcom Island to hang with my soul sister Joanne, to a show home with an ocean view with my girl Rachelle Sieben, to Vancouver to spend time with my 64 yr old sister on the decline due to Alzheimer’s. Now THAT puts your problems into perspective people!

If it wasn’t for a few amazing friends and the staff at Oceanside Mental Health, I can’t say where I’d be today. I urge you to call OMH if you need help, or just to talk things over. That’s why they’re there😇

P.S. A huge shoutout to the amazing stylist who is the owner of Nanoose Bay Beauty Salon for my great new do! If you haven’t met that gentle soul, you best get in before December as she is rightfully retiring!
