3rd Annual Indigenous Female Hockey Jamboree hosted by Vancouver Female Hockey Sept 3-6, 2026.

The jamboree brings together Indigenous female hockey players from Minor Hockey Associations across BC and beyond for a weekend focused on hockey, connection, culture, and community. Players travel from a wide range of communities to take part, making this a really special opportunity to build friendships, create representation in hockey, and celebrate Indigenous athletes.

The weekend includes:
Friday, September 4 | Afternoon practice session
Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6 | Jamboree games and community events

We are also offering additional development opportunities for Indigenous participants of all genders, including:
Aboriginal Coaching Module
Coaching Clinic
Referee Clinic

Today, we're proud to introduce the new look of North Island Impact Hockey.

As our program continues to grow, we wanted a logo that truly represents who we are.

While we've proudly kept our signature red, white, and blue, we've moved away from the previous VIAHA-inspired design to create an identity that's uniquely Impact.

The mountains, shoreline, and evergreens celebrate the incredible island we call home and the community we're fortunate to represent every time we step on the ice. This logo is more than a new look—it's a reflection of our players, our families, and the pride we have in growing the game on Vancouver Island.

A huge thank you goes to one of our very own Impact volunteers, whose creativity brought this vision to life. We couldn't be more grateful for the talent and dedication within our hockey family.
