It's amazing what can be accomplished when a community comes together.
Thank you Surfrider Foundation Mid-Island and Sundown Diving for helping put together a great community event.
Together we left the French Creek Marina cleaner than we found it.
Thank you to all the divers and non-diver volunteers who worked hard to remove debris of all sorts and get it ready for proper disposal.

The Surfrider Foundation Mid Island Chapter is teaming up with French Creek Harbour, Nanaimo Dive Outfitters and Sundown Diving for a cleanup of the harbour on May 31.
Volunteers and divers will work together above and below the water to remove debris and protect the coastline.
The event goes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Divers and non-divers are welcome.
French Creek Harbour and Cafe 356 will be providing food and drinks for everyone.
Please let us know if you will be joining to ensure we have enough collection materials along with food and drinks.
We are looking forward to the opportunity to help clean a small part of our coast.
