Each year at Wrestlefest, we choose a community organization that makes a positive impact in our city to host our 50/50 draw, and this year we’re proud to partner with Football Nanaimo!

For more than 50 years, Football Nanaimo has been helping young athletes develop skills, confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships. With two seasons each year and programs starting at just 8 years old, their dedicated coaches volunteer countless hours to help players grow both on and off the field.

One of the things that makes Football Nanaimo so special is that it remains a low-cost sport for families, with all required equipment included in registration fees, making football accessible to more youth in our community.

We’re proud to have Football Nanaimo as part of Wrestlefest 3 and hope you’ll help support them by purchasing your 50/50 tickets. Every ticket purchased helps support an organization that has been investing in local youth for generations.

For months, two of VIPW’s brightest young stars have been on a collision course, and at Vancouver Island Wrestlefest III, there will be nowhere left to run.

The challenger, Dash Dauntless, has fought their way through every obstacle placed in front of them. Through the brutal Pick Your Poison series, Dash has survived opponents hand-picked to break them down, proving time and time again that they belongs in the championship conversation.

Standing in their way is the man who has become the face of the Light Heavyweight Division, VIPW Light Heavyweight Champion Evan Ashford. Ashford has built his reign on skill, determination, and an unwavering belief that he is the very best wrestler in the division. Standing across the ring from one another will be the reigning and inaugural MLP Women’s Canadian Champion, Gisele Shaw, and one of the fastest-rising stars in women’s wrestling today, Rebel Kel. Shaw has spent over a year proving why she sits atop Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s women’s division, defeating challenger after challenger and cementing herself as one of the premier competitors in Canada.

Current IWTV Independent World Champion, Wrestling REVOLVER Champion, GCW standout, and ROH Superstar Mance Warner makes his VIPW debut at Vancouver Island Wrestlefest III on June 19th at the Frank Crane Arena.

But if Mance thinks he’s walking into VIPW and taking over, he’s got another thing coming.

Standing across the ring will be The Hillbilly Hounddogg, Drayco, one of the most dangerous, unpredictable, and hard-hitting competitors on Vancouver Island. Drayco has built his reputation on fighting anyone, anywhere, and now he’s got the biggest challenge of his career.
