North Island Tennis Academy-Progressive, development and high performance tennis: Progressive 5-11 years, Development 11-17 years, High Performance 8-17 years
All NITA programs are based on the Tennis Canada, “Long-Term
Athletic Development” (LTAD) path. Each level is tailored
for specific stages of development. We offer various classes that are based on skill levels. Our INTRODUCTION to tennis and developmental classes are offered through the Nanaimo Parks & Rec activity guide. Our INTERMEDIATE and PERFORMANCE level classes are offered by NITA.

We are running a tennis camp over Spring break at Westwood Tennis Club for ages 8-11.
Dates: March 14-17, 2022 (Mon-Thu)
Time: 3-5pm
Cost: $151.20 tax included

Westwood Tennis Club hosted a Mixed Doubles Tournament on Oct 22-24. The competition was a good mix of socializing, intensity & fun. Westwood was represented by many NITA students. We can expect to see more competitive action from our Juniors. Well done!!!

Oak Bay Rec Centre in Victoria is hosting a Future Stars tournament on Saturday, November 6. This is for U10 and U9 participants. The tournament will use orange and green dot progression balls. Registration is done online thru Tennis BC website. Registration closes October 30.
