Darkness to light, fear to hope is a theme that is resonating for many of us through the challenging times we are facing together. It also speaks to the intention of Bethlehem Centre's 2020 Winter Solstice Celebration.

In past years, we have invited our friends and neighbours to explore Bethlehem's beautiful sacred space, while enjoying in person events together.

Now, in the year of the pandemic, we are grateful that we can still gather together virtually. We hope you will join us.

This event will be on Monday, December 21st from 7-8:30 pm.
- Gary Paterson, Host
- Sue Averill, Nanaimo Folk Singer will share her gift of Solstice songs for us to sing along at home
- Quuia offering drumming and prayer song and Ben Bollich's Tibetan Singing Bowls and Gong meditation - this cultural fusion will ignite the senses.
- Rachel Dunstan Muller, award winning storyteller and author invites us to cozy up for a winter story
- Jay Sutton Brown leads us through a heart opening guided meditation, as we welcome the light of the Solstice as we collectively exhale 2020.

Many attendees have recently asked about my use of water with the singing bowls during the Open Heart Meditation. After, the workshops I've been giving an example of the science of cymatics, which is a true vibrational phenomenon that allows us to physically see how soundwaves work.
